ARTIST STATEMENT
Lily Johnson brings the character of old artifacts to a bright new future. Taking inspiration from the shapes of mid century art pottery and the texture of traditional letterpress, she creates an energetic blend of digital and traditional media. Her fascination with vintage stems from efforts to reduce waste by buying secondhand. Since she strives to make a positive impact on the world, Johnson is working towards a more eco-friendly design practice.
